El sonido de la revolución (II)

Siguiendo con los sonidos de la revolución y tras el Street Fighting Man de los Rolling, llega la ahora de funkear un poco con Sly and The Family Stone. Se trata de un grupo de San Francisco que empezó en los años 60 y tuvo un gran reconocimiento en los 70. La macroformación estaba liderada por Sylvester Stewart y alcanzó el éxito con su disco Stand! (1969) cargado de mensajes pacifistas, tolerancia y amor muy en la línea del Fisco de la época. Precisamente, la canción que he elegido yo es Stand, que se acabaría convirtiendo en el himno de los Panteras Negras y en la que la letra versa sobre la acción directa.
